How far ahead have you planned your shopping?

    I've planned about 6 years into the future. here's my plan:

    This christmas: Giggable Combo(Trace Elliot)

    Middle of next year/Xmas next year: Ibanez BTB405QMTB.

    Year after that: Extension cab.

    Student grant time(2003-2004): G&L 2500, Spector NS5CRFM, Stingray 4, maybe a Sei custom.

    Then, all the basses I buy after that will not cost less than £1000. I'm gonna need a good job. Especially since I just saw the most gorgeous 5 string Alembic Orion, and I will be able to afford it if I want.

    I ain't having kids for a long while:D.

    Sorry to burst your bubble but

    1988 saved up to buy a Wal-bought a Status as the ultimate never sell bass
    1997 wanted a Jazz V bought a Stingray V
    1997 traded the Status for a Warwick Thumb
    1998 wanted a Les Paul bought a Strat

    The point is that its a good thing to plan next purchases but having the money in the back pocket makes one way more fussy and that 'ultimate' whatever does not seem as good.

    Anyway what do I know?
