how far do i stick in the earplugs?

    hey how far do i stick those earplugs in? from what i gather on the directions they're supposed to go waaaaay in but i swear my mom told me never to stick anything that far in my ear. so i havent even used them yet (thankfully i havent had practice yet). thanks

    The danger of sticking something like a q-tip way into your ear is the possible damage to the ear drum. You can feel safe to stick these in as the directions say. For optimum protection, PLEASE follow the directions on the package.

    are they supposed to hurt or be uncomfortable? and how are you supposed to hear the other band members talking? and how am i supposed to hear the hi-hat? i had a hard time hearing the drummer and percussionist. thanks
