First off, what is your budget, how many pieces are you plying with, and do you plan on sticking with the bass after its all said and done?

    Ok well,
The band has some 4 electric guitars:bassist::bassist::bassist::bassist:,a drum and a keyboard player.
My dad's going to pay the amp, he asked me to figure out the price. Therefor i want to know how loud my amp should be to start looking at prices. Anyhow it should be less than 400$.
O yes, i'm going to play bass until i die.

The only person who can tell you how many watts you'll need is Munji...

Four guitars?!? Really? My suggestion in that case: Run away as fast as you can!!!

    ;)

Come on guys, i've seen bands with more instruments. Besides i would only need one for practice. The fiew stage things that will do will be fully covered by the soundsystems of the school.:D
Does anyone have a serious reaction?

  7. Depending on how loud the geetar players are playing, you may want 3-4 times more power then them. However, for your purposes I would think 100-150 watts would be more then sufficent.
