How do You spell ‘Hero’?
‘MonetBass’, that’s how!
97 Fender jazz. Custom Music Man Sterling. Dean Jeff Berlin. Ibanez 1500. Michael Kelly acoustic
I am at 18. Many Fender Jazz and Precisions, couple of Musicman basses, Mike Lull, Ken Smith, Ibanez, Guild, Hofner.
I was thinking about this the other day because I gravitate to the same few basses all the time. It might be the feel and the tone combination. Some basses just stand out to you as a player. So with all my basses, I asked myself if I could only have one, which one would I play for the rest of my life? Interestingly enough it was pretty easy. The one bass I could play and get rid of all others would be my Nash Stack Knob Jazz Bass. That thing has some bold Lollar pickups and just rocks!! It is lightweight and gets a variety of tones. I love it.
I keep 5 out on stands and try to rotate from ABG to Hollow to Solid
A 4003 Jetglo.

Nice! Best color for that bass. You gonna ditch the pup cover or do you dig it?
I like it. I'm going to leave it on. The cover is no where near in my way of playing.
How many basses do you own?
I'm up to 21 at the moment
Had three .Sold my Ibanez Destroyer . Still have my 76 P bass and this slice of heaven -
Warwick 5 string Fretless
Rickenbacker 4001 5 string
Fender custom V jazz bass
Fender custom shop 5 string
In my 55 years, I've never seen a 5 string Ric until just the other day on Facebook. Now I've seen 2! Must be a sign that I really should add a 5 string to my collection!
I apologize for the redundancy but I can't figure out how to post pictures from my phone!

Pulled the trigger on this over Memorial Day weekend.....this will be No. 41...yes I have a problem and I am having a blast!
Well, I did it...I just dropped some coin on a used Black Sparkle Stylist. Was watching this on reverb and fleabay for 3 months. Was ended on fleabay so I figured I'd make an offer on Reverb. Didn't think I'd get it and 6 hours later....viola...accepted my offer! Looks like decent shape, but the bridge and tailpiece have oxidized so I'll either be polishing them or replacing them. Already found what appear to be exact replacement parts on aliexpress. Was thinking of toying with black chrome replacement parts, but that style might be harder to find, but I think it would look cool. This model also has the 6 pole piece humbuckers so I might be changing those too for real bass (4 pole piece) humbuckers
Here's a pic from the seller.
Should have this on Thursday June 7
