I play an average of about 7 gigs a month - 2 Nerve shows and about 5 cover gigs.
In the last few months, it's been between 16 and 22. 3-4 nights a week playing jazz/funk, and a regular church gig.
Nothing!! I don't have that kind of skill yet. But soon....
Usually about 10 to 12, although this month has been kind of slow.
yea it has been quite slow
Usually about 3-5 per month, plus the 12+ church dates.
as little as 4, or as many as 20.
but since phat phunktion is recording right now, it's been more on the "low" side lately
Usually 2-3 a month when things are rolling smoothly.
Being in an all original band we like to leave time to promote and build a following other than playing 4 times a week and having people get burnt out on us.
I'd like to get into a cover/church/wedding/whatever band in the near future to earn some extra money whilst I try and make it in this darn new fangeled rock and roll business.
Holy gig-city batman! I cant believe how many people here play in so many simultanous projects. I'm gonna ditto ChaosLord. My ONE band plays 3 times a month on average, and we do promoting and networking, etc in between.
we're a new country band, and were're supposidly slated for 6 gigs in august at the same club....i want more and we havent played a one yet
I'm a working stiff for my real job.
Weeknight gigs are a drain. I play maybe 2-3 times a month. Any amore than that and I'd really hear it.
Rehearsals twice a week on top of that.
About 5 a month. However, since our lead vocalist's wife just had a baby last month, and my company seems determined to ship me off to some other part of the country every couple of months, I haven't played a gig since late June.
We usually play twice a month.
3-5 times a month, by choice.
The days of 10-15 gigs a month are long gone for me.
I prefer to keep my wife and my day job!
