Any chance of posting a pic of the Sei singlecut !! Been a fan of Martin Petersen's work for ages and one day will get a Sei 7 !!
Matthew Foote has an amazing 7-string fretless Sei, so have a search on here for pics of it. It's gorgeous.
But, as requested, here's a pic of my singlecut 5 in its full buckeye-explosion glory... even though I've just noticed that the fingerboard needs a clean...

Blazer, I merged this with the mega thread we already had on this subject.
I thought that I had posted my entry in this thread, but I haven't, so hear goes!
These are in the order that I owned them. Basses with asterisks I no longer own.
*Memphis P copy - from the 70's, when they were decent P copies and weight 45 lbs!
*No name classical guitar, rescued from a dumpster, defretted and strung with the heaviest green weedeater string I could fine. My dad had to sell my Memphis after he lost his job. This was my only 'bass' for 3 years or so. Although a lot of the churches I visited had their own basses I could play.
*Peavey T-40 - great bass. Should have never traded it.
*Electra Westone Spectrum. Poorly stripped and oil finished, defretted, polyurethane fingerboard coating, EMG P/J pickups. Stolen by my crackhead sister in law.
Electra Westone Spectrum P/J bass with weird parametric active tone control and passive tone control. This one came with a fretted and a fretless neck. The fretted neck was on the other Electra Westone when it was stolen.
*Westone Pantera 5 string - gorgeous bass in pearl white. Sounded crappy, and the poor ergonomics nearly ended my playing days.
Peavey Foundation - my main bass for 3 or 4 years. Most of the mp3s on my band's website were recorded with this bass. Semipermanently loaned out to a guy too poor to buy his own.
Ibanez SR506 - My first six string, and my main bass for 3 1/2 years.
*Pedulla Rapture J2 5 - Beautiful bass. Sold it because the Bartolini pickups and preamp were too dark for my taste. This is the bass that showed me that most Barts weren't for me. Wish I still had it, though.
Fender Jazz Geddy Lee - Great Jazz bass. Super slim neck, and capable of being set up extremely low. If it had one more string, it would get tons of playing time.
Zon Sonus Custom fretless 5 - My bass of doom. I want to be buried with this one. It has the fretless sound that I have always heard in my head, and almost plays itself.
Peavey Cirrus 6 - Killer, world class 6 stringer. Great slap tone. Great tapping bass.
Lakland D55-01 - Great budget 5 string. Wide string spacing, and one of the few Bart equipped basses that I like. People rag on the MK1 pickups and preamp, and I don't know why. Sounds much better than a Bart equipped 55-02 or 55-94 to me.
Westone Quantum - Headless Steinberger copy
SX BG-80 - Great little $99 P copy. Had some issues with jagged fret ends, but once I fixed that and gave it a setup, wound up with a really cool cheap bass.
Hamer CH12 - Being a Doung Pinnick fan, I have to have a 12 string. This one gets the job done nicely, and I got it new for only $299!
Nordstrand SC5 - If the Zon is 1, this is 1-a. My main axe in my Christian rock band. This bass may look smooth, but it is mean! One of the most aggressive sounding basses I have ever played.
Peavey T-40 - I GASsed for one of these in natural when I was a teenager and had a black one. Found this one at a Musicgoround in Wisconsin for $169. Everything works, and it is as cool of a bass as I remember owning when I was a kid.
Olympia ABG - Great, loud acoustic bass. Gets the job done for front porch playing with a coupld of acoustic guitars.
