DAMN, that's the fastest one of my posts has ever hit someone's signature!!!! (come to think of it it may be the only time, glad it was such an austere topic!!!! )
And back on topic, I'm not sure I could be considered a player anymore, more of a closet wanker, my playing is perpetually on hold untill I can get back into some lessons.
haha i was just touched by how odd it sounded
I'm just here for the nachos.
My first thought was not many, but then I realized how many people won't fill out a profile. That makes me wonder?
But do you think they will answer and face ridicule and not being taken seriously?
I don't play the bass.
The bass and I are one.
Be the bass!
Or sumthin' like that.
I haven't touched my bass for seven months now. So, I am going to count myself as someone who does not play the bass. I have a den full of Epifani cabs, EA amps, and a MIA jazz that never get touched.
did you miss the cocktail shrimp over in the corner?
*cough* donations *cough*
LajoieT summed me up as well "closet wanker" I just really noodle around on the bass when the mood hits me..could be a few hours, or a few months..who knows At some point I'd like to try and take lessons again or atleast find a drummer to jam with.
I haven't played in months since I stopped taking lessons.
I don't play bass in my band these days. But I do teach the bass player some bass lines, and I teach the drummer the drum parts.
They are grown men, and should be able to do this themselves and it frustrates me to a degree to have few challenges presented by others.
I did play bass for a number of years in an earlier version of the band and I enjoyed it much.
Jeez, I feel guilty if I'm feeling bad and skip a day or 2. You're making me feel much better.
wait wait wait.... this is a bass GUITAR forum???
i just fish...
beat me to it
i seldom play. but... ah, who am i kidding? the new semester starts tomorrow--i'll be doing math all the time... and now programming!
see ya, spector. you are three feet behind me, yet so far away.
I play at least every weekend at church. And once at practice. I need to get my amp set back up in the living room (my wife moved it) and practice again.
In Russia the bass plays you.
Sweet, glad I could help. You can play enough for the both of us.
Another closet wanker here, haven't been in a band in 20+ years and back then we were too busy getting high to play, now the excuse is work and mangled fingers
(you probably guessed by my user name I am a mechanic )
still would like to et togerher with some similarly mediochre like minded old guys and jam though.
