hi, i just purchased a used swr head and i need a little help. it's a Professional Series "Studio 220." i think it's 500 watts cause it looks just like the new swr 500 watt amp. it also has the same controls and same face as the new 500 watt amp. it is just a couple of years older. someone told me it's only 350watts but i don't think so. i can run 2 4X10 fender cabs no problem. i can give you any more info you need i just don't know what to write now. thanks for any and all help.

  2. the 220 means 220w.. ;)

    and is this a bass ? nope.. it's an AMP * hint * ;)

i was gonna bring this up, but i thought it was 2 obvious
usually, the number in the title of the is the wattage, in my experience
except fer cabs, eg the Hartke 410 cab doesn't mean that its able to cope with 410 watts, it means it has 4x10" speakers

    hmmmm

    this is a crap thread!

  4. The Studio 220 is 220 watts. It was produced from 1987 to 1998.

350@2 ohms, 220@4 ohms, 140@8 ohms. Note: although it can be run at 2 ohms, it gets hot. Get a small fan to blow on it.
