How Much Should I Sell For?

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by bobbykokinos, Mar 4, 2005.

  1. I have a MIM Fender 5 string jazz with passive electronics. Tobacco burst.. Excellent condition, I just dont play it anymore. 6 basses and there are only 1-2 that I really play..

Any ideas how much I could sell it for??

Going rate is between $235 and $335 on eBay. You may get more in a private sale.

I say $330 shipped on TB would be a win-win situation.

  4. 330-350 is about what I was looking at.

Gotta get some money to get some new pups for my SX jazz

Edit: Actually, I need a new cab before the pups.. Argggh does it ever end?!?!?

You'll have plenty left! Wanna buy me a set of pickups too?

  6. Haha, check out my edit and that'll answer your question :)

I sincerely hope this isn't an attempt at getting around the For Sale forum rules.

  8. I'm just asking for an honest opinion on how much the bass is.. I bought it 3-4 years ago and dont even remember how much I paid for it.. Just tried to get a good price without ripping someone off.

If I was trying to get around the rules, I'd probably try more blantantly :)

I know what you mean. All my "buy new pickups for my Mexican fretless Jazz" fund went towards my '78 P. Stupid GAS.
