If you dont mind sharing how old were you when you got married? , thanks.
I was 24. I consider waiting until that age to be one of the wise decisions I have made in my lifetime.
That age...I was 38 when I got married last Thanksgiving.
I was 24............the first time. It did last 18 years, but was rocky from the start. Children were the only thing that kept us together. My advice is to wait at least that long, but more importantly, be sure you are ready for it. Marriage may be biggest desision you will make in your life. Do it for the right reasons.
I had just turned 20. Two weeks ago, we celebrated our 21st anniversary!!!
But I would not recommend it for the typical 20 year old.
21 the first time, lasted 6 years, both of us at fault.
Re-married at 29, just celebrated our 23rd anniversary, both of us take the credit
I was 28. I consider getting married that young to be the stupidest decision I have made in my lifetime (so far).
Don't ask me why but I was actually considering it in recent times (I'm 18). I didn't and I'm glad. It would've been a huge mistake.
BTW, sex is no reason to get married. Just in case anyone was wondering.
It is also the only time in your life you can choose your relatives.
22 and clueless.
26. after almost 7 years of courtin'.
21. We were born 13 days apart in the same hospital, by the same OB-GYN, known each other since we were 5, started "dating" when we were 12, have a 14-year-old son, and will be celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary in two weeks.
How's that for atypical?
23 then 35.
27, 7th anniversary coming up next week
28 after dating for almost 8 years....November first will be 12 years of marriage! It has been a challenge sometimes but in the long run has been worth it...
