3 days ago. My dad was rushed off to the hospital with complications due to liver cancer. I've been picking up the slack so my mom can take care of what she needs to. My body feels about 20 years older, probably because I haven't slept since Friday night.

Due to CPO season I have to go to two 1 hour long PT sessions a day (the CPO and Command wide PTs).

Today I did a total of 420 push ups. I feel kinda old afterward.

When cops and playboy playmates are young enough to be your children.....that's when it started, about 42 or so....
  9. For me it was around 30. I was in a blockbuster video store and saw two girls across the store that looked really cute. I went about my shopping and at one point turned around and almost bumped into one of the girls. The first thought that entered my mind was "she smells like bubble gum". My second thought was that I was getting old.

I think that feeling old and feeling young are not mutually exclusive. There are certain things that make me feel old- still being single, not feeling like my life is progressing how I would like, listening to amazing artists that are 3-5 years younger than me (and younger...),

BUT, there are things that make me feel young- I'm still in my twenties, I can stay out all night, other people constantly say I'm still young, I can still listen to the most intense of music, I'm still open-minded and progressive thinking... :)

So, don't accept one by completely giving up on the other!

    Just kidding!
I first felt "old" (as in [yeah, I can die, Life can stop me, dude wake up....]) when I had a big knee operation from some old problems, At the time I was making some pretty wrong decisions in Life.

The feeling of "age" brought reality.
The feeling of reality brought reflection.
The feeling of reflection brought wisdom.
    or a quest for it.

I know I hit a growth spurt when I realized I wanted to keep growing.
  16. Dude, did you see the doctor about that yeast infection, or what?

Just last year, when I turned 35.

  20. Last spring and this year when I turned 43
    • It takes longer to shrug off the pain of a botched cliff huck landing (skiing)
    • My bench press IS limited because of shoulder joint pain and not because of muscle fatigue
    • I can't keep up with my younger friends (early 30s) while mt biking
