hey everyone first time pedal board user and I'm not sure where to put everything in the chain I plan to use a tc poly tune Aguilar tone hammer mxr deluxe octave darkglass vintage microtube mxr chorus Darkglass Super Symmetry Bass Compressor also will I get possible tone suck?
I would have gone... Polytune Octave Vintage Chorus Tonehammer Comp But you could try and switch place of the vintage and Tonehammer. And also try the compressor first in chain. Just try them around and listen to what you like. You wont need a buffer, unless you plan on having a seriously long cable going to the amp.
You don't need a buffer. The only pedal on your list I have actually played through is the MXR Chorus (at least if it's the old yellow one). The order you have listed looks like a good place to start. Are you using the Tonehammer or the VMT (or both) for dirt? Sometimes tuners can tone-suck it is the reason that many player keep them out of the overall signal chain on a loop. There are many threads on pedal order but you can also look at placements people use on the general "show your pedalboard" threads for examples and ideas.
tc poly tune -> Darkglass Super Symmetry Bass Compressor -> mxr deluxe octave -> darkglass vintage microtube -> mxr chorus -> Aguilar tone hammer
If you'll be using the EQ and DI of the Tonehammer I'd definitely suggest having it at the end of your chain before the amplifier - that way you can send a complete signal with all of your effects eq'd out to your amp as well as direct out to the PA/Board/Recording interface
