  3. thanks for getting that song to me---It sounds like he's using an envelope filter. Probably the DOD FX25B. If I remember correctly, that's the one he uses.

    i could be wrong, but by the time they were recording californication he had switched to a qtron... i know it's in his live rig now, i'll post the article when i get home.

    Yeah he did but if you listen to the song there's no way with out tons of studio magic that that is a Q-tron.

    Sounds way way better.

    I'm leaning Mutron or meatball or something. But not a Q-tron
