How to avoid getting ripped off on the internet

    They may be, but they generally take much longer to deliver and they've lost more than one of my shipments. I find it easier to work with USPS in general.
  2. +1 for USPS. Barring possible size limits, I would use them exclusively... I've never gone missing anything through them.

    Honestly, use PayPal, never send a personal payment if you are buying something, and make sure you file a claim on there within 45 days of the transaction date. You'll be just fine.
  4. everyone seems to fear their own shadow these days -I always call and speak to someone before a buy-have never had any problems.I don't like paypal fees and will never use it.never had a bad check sent to me.I use checks all the time to buy and no one ever had a problem accepting mine.
