Name the band, don't make it an option to vote on, then move on to the busy work. Current band I'm in had that issue, we just named the damn thing and the issue was over... drummer moved on & we replaced him toot sweet.

It's easier to name a new element than a band...

Pick a Bob Dylan song and substitute either the word doom or euphoria-

    Rainy Day Doom
    Positively 4th Euphoria
Don't Think Twice, It's All Doom
    Tangled Up In Doom
A Hard Euphoria is Gonna Fall

See, it's easy. Hmmm. I actually really like Tangled Up In Doom. Might have to talk to the mates about that one.

I would but I'm really not sure how? Lars Ulrich doesn't come by here, does he?

Early one mornin' the sun was shinin'
    I was layin' in bed
Wondrin' if she'd changed at all
If her hair was still red
Her folks they said our lives together
    Sure was gonna be rough
    They never did like
    Mama's homemade dress
Papa's bank book wasn't big enough
And I was standin' on the side of the road
    Rain fallin' on my shoes
Heading out for the east coast
Lord knows I've paid some vroom
    Gettin' a room
    Tangled up in doom...

So far the results are kinda funny... Especially since the other band members are against numbers in the the name.... Lmao.....

Giants Under the Sun is a pretty good one. That said, I really dislike the rest a lot.

And how can "6 Days Later" have the most votes? It sounds like a high school band name.

Maybe it's some sort of creation reference?

    I love Side Hustle.

Giants Under The Sun is what the drummer and I are kinda pushing for... May have the guitar player convinced, but he just sent another suggestion 2 days ago of "Kraut Water"....

@jaxom Kraut Water is pretty bad. It's a joke name which already walks a very fine line of being taken seriously. It sounds like an inside joke or something except it's not masked. I'm in a band called Gray Ghost. It's from Batman: The Animated Series, but it also sounds sort of serious, and most people don't realize our band is named after a character from an episode of a 20+ year old cartoon.

In my experiences though, puns and joke names are never good. They're also not usually that funny.

Kick this dude out and go out and search for the final piece of Giants Under the Sun. I really like that name quite a lot. Immediately when I hear it, I think of talented musicians for some reason. Maybe because to me, it sounds a bit proggy.

@jaxom Gotcha. I never really listened to Yes that much, so I didn't know that. Whatever you do, just don't call yourselves "6 Days Later"

Sidenote, I assumed for a moment that Kraut Water was a Yes song title, and I just tried looking it up.
