I've got all the parts to build my bass. My MM J Bass body will be here Tuesday. I'll installing a Schaller 463 bridge with Lindy Fralin pickups. I'm pretty good with how to install the pickups. However, how do I install the bridge with the ground wire for the pickups. I haven't seen the MM body yet. Or is there some other way to deal with the ground wire? Or is there a good step by step link.

The body should have a hole drilled from under where the bridge sits into the electronics cavity. You just run a wire through that hole.

Thanks! I thought that might be the case but wasn't sure.

    You're welcome.

To be more verbose, you also have to solder the ground wire to a ground point inside the electronics cavity...like to the back of a potentiometer.

  5. i recommend a star grounding ala valenti, simple and noise free
