When I move from one psition to another I always keep the contact. So I actually gliss between positions. This is nessesary to hit the notes, ofcourse you shouldn't play the gliss but never let go the contact.

Have you ever heard someone say, you and your instrument have to become one?

That wont happen until you start keeping a non stop contact with left hand and the right. Never lift a bow when changing from up to down or down to up bows. This is a common pitfall for beginners, lifting the bow.

That's how I do it. And it works very well.

    See you around
