How to play on an 18 string bass

    i recently found a pic of an 18 string bass but i still can't understand 1 thing, HOW are you supposed to play on it???

    Well, if you have a pic, then you can see and figure out easier what I say. The 18-string is 6*3: a six-string, with two octave-strings for each string, close enough so that you can hold all three down with the fretting hand. To play it, you can try fingerstyle, but most people I have so far seen use picks.
