How to put Polytune in bass mode?

    Probably a stupid question, but I've searched around and I can't find anywhere explaining how to put the Polytune pedal into bass mode. Can anyone help me out? It's the regular Polytune not the mini.

    my polytune app has a "settings" button, which lets me choose between bass and guitar, and also between "needle" and the way more accurate "stream" modes.

    the software should be close to the same as the pedal, i think.

    So you just strum and it recognizes that you play a 5 or 6 string bass?
