I just bought my first Aguilar GS112 and after selling some Gear listed on Ebay, I'm going to by another. I've got a Demeter pre-amp powered by a QSX RMX2450. The RMX2450 puts out 2400 watts bridged at 4 ohms, 750 x 2 @ 4 ohms and 500 x 2 @ 8 ohms. I figured I would run them at 8 ohms at 500 per side in stereo. What are thoughts on this and does it really matter?

Well, personally, I would try it with it in stereo at 500 w per side into 8 ohms. I've got a second GS112 on the way, too. It should actually show up tomorrow. Aren't they great?

Honestly, I'd call Aguilar and ask them. Or, even shoot them an email. I've ha a couple of questions, and they have always seemed more than happy to help.

In any event, with a Demeter, QSX, and two GS112s, you're going to have a nice, fat, clean sound. If I didn't have a DB750 on order, I'd be jealous. ;)

Thanks bassmonkeee. I'm hoping this is going to be the rig that will cure my G.A.S..

Where do you purchase your Aguilar gear from. The first GS112 I bought off of Ebay. I need to purchase a second.

Hey, I picked up the 1st 1x12, and the DB750 from Gard at Bass Central. The second 1x12 is currently AWOL because FedEx lost it. Hopefully, it'll turn up, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I run 2 8ohm cabs from mine (QSC RMX2450). I run them stereo. They are rated at 200 watts.

I run my GS 112's in series at 4ohms through my SM400s. Just such a clean tone. I also run a BBE 462 which really helps those 12's throw the low.
