How transparent is the EBS Microbass II?

    Does anyone know if the EBS Microbass II pedal has a baked in tone color, or is it transparent?

    The first channel is pretty flat. The second channel has a midscoop, but it can be dialed out easily enough.

    To my ears, chnl a without the tube sim is completely transparent. It's just gives you v good EQ.
    I use chnl b with the A+B setting as a boost function. Honestly, still transparent to my ears. Maybe 1/100 part of dirt with it.

    Thanks guys. I use a Sadowsky preamp now, but I'd like to try a preamp box with a mid control that will be similarly colourless to the Sadowsky box.
