How would satin wearing off affect resale price?

Hi.. I've finally descided to sell my bass and get a new one. The finish on it is black satin. Almost all of the back of the neck and some other critical places are shiny black, due to the satin finish wearing off.

The bass is in excellent shape otherwise.

This purely cosmetic, but you can't avoid seeing it.
I'm wondering if it should affect the resale price more than other inevitable "wear and tear's".

    Whattayasay? :meh:

Double-check in the luthier's forum, but I think rubbing the "shiny" areas with the appropriate grade of wire wool will effectively restore the satin finish.
