Howdy Folks!

I've probably lurked long enough here to justify signing up... A friend tried to get me to sign up here way back when in 98 or 99 but never did. I haven't played bass in about 10 years but had a recent calling to get some new gear + a few friends have been bugging me to get the axe out and work out the kinks!

My kids want to start playing guitar and what not too so I've been in the mood, especially after being 100% consumed with my remodeling business that I run. Prior to that, I spent many years working for a company and a few woodworking shops with a college education in cabinet making and custom millwork. I used to refinish guitars and other random projects like buying cheapo drum kits and veneering them to actually make them look cool. There's also been some thoughts about building a bass or two for myself so this looks like the right place to be.

Thanks. Yeah, a bass build is probably down the road.. the woodworking part is easy to me. Fretwork and electronics is something I have to learn more about.

I don't think I'm in the Partridge Family though.. lol
