Just wanting to see what mileage people are getting to the tank.

I get about 26mpg city, and 32 mpg highway in my 95 jetta, 2.0L 5 speed.

    How about you?

I haven't paid for gas since the school year started.

Walking and biking are the ways to go, unless you've got gear to carry.

I'm getting 28 MPG with a '95 Buick Regal with the 3.8L V-6. It was getting 22 MPG when I bought it, but I gave it a complete tune up with all new sensors and reconditioned and flow matched fuel injectors and then new tires.

When the weather warms up and all the salt is off the roads I'm going to get the '78 Mercedes out and see what kind of mileage I get running my new CFI with alcohol.

My van for hauling band equipment gets 13 mpg.

Nope, I've got a lowly Compaq... all my friends make fun of me when we go to Starbucks and order black coffee. I don't even have an iPod, or any Decemberists/Arcade Fire albums. I'm hopelessly uncool.
  10. 40 MPG in my Scion XB...:D

Is that the same 3.0 V6 as the more recent model Camry? I'm getting 25mpg average and that's with the automatic. On pure highway driving I get up to 32mpg.

1998 mustang V6 3.8 liter, automatic about 23-28 is what the specs online say, but I have no other means to check. The sad thing my friend told me is his 98 Jetta GTX is a 2.8L V6 engine and gets 170 some horsepower, but mine only gets like 150...

crappy inefficient engines... lol at least mine looks cooler!

I get 53 mpg with my car.

Still cheap to run when gas is $7 a gallon.

Well, since the tranny died on my minivan, I am down to my Kia Optima. 31 highway. Unfortunately, 90% of my driving is up and down mountains in the small town where I live. That means I get about 18 overall.
  18. I'd hate to walk anywhere in a Michigan winter... and considering my school is a 30 minute drive... I'd hate to walk that also.

Heh, that's the GLX, not GTX. And the engine produces 172 hp and 188 f/lb torque. :p
