We played a wedding in Lancaster, PA tonight at the Trust Performing Arts Center. During setup, to say there was a MASSIVE drum reverb is an understatement. The incredible Frank Diorio on drums. Too bad we're not a Zeppelin tribute ...from the looks of it, this venue usually hosts speakers or classical music. That reverb probably sounds incredible for a string quartet. Crazy environment for amplified music thoughvv

  2. Hi,

That is one LIVE room! It's a beautiful room. I hope it sounded better once you got it filled with decibel absorbing units. Still, you don't have to be very loud in that room. I hope your gig went well.

    Thank you for your indulgence,

It's a good 'verb (I've heard plenty bad 'verb rooms), but WOW could it turn messy real quick!

It was pretty messy! I believe it was a bank at one point in time. If we had been playing "when the levee breaks" all night it would have been awesome though. Luckily we had no complaints at all from the audience, so I guess it was ok. Massive cuts at 250 and 500 on the mains cleaned it up some, as well as watching volume.

I would love to go back there to hear a string quartet sometime, it is made for that.
