Kramer Striker P-Bass guitar with new parts
It's for capturing the signals from the imaginary sub-bass strings?
I am confused about this.
My best guess: Not enough room to vertically stack the single coils to create a humbucking effect?
From the ad: "The 3rd party pickup job doesn’t look great but..."
Now that's how to write an understatement!
Well as one of my old supervisors told me "nowhere in the employee manual does it say you need brains to work here."
Vertical magnetized thumbrest….it's the hot new thing.
And *THAT* is why I don't do drugs.
$100, I'd buy it just because it has a 3 pick up E string! Plus, it looks like a fun project.
E string enhancer - When two pickups just ain't enough.
I hear there's a meth problem up there in Washington state.
I lack the capability to understand why.
$100 seems worth it just for the parts... or as a work of modern art.
Buy it just to own the legend
Interesting, what sound will give you such a combination of these pickups.
it looks clear to me. the E string has a separate output from that pickup so you can send it to a bass amp and send the entire signal to a distortion drive chain or something. that way you can handle bass and rhythm guitar duties in a band with fewer musicians.
seems crazy, but it works. I have accomplished the same thing wiht roland systems without that silly pickup idea, but I'm 95% confident that this is what the seller built it for.
I would probably buy that if I could get the price down to $80!
