Humbucking Pickup Addition

So im working with a Gretcsh Electromatic Junior bass right now (wanna upgrade but im broke) and i was looking to potentially just make a few upgrades to get a little better quality sound. With use and time a few other parts are needing replacing as well, but the biggest thing is replacing my single coil with a humbucking pickup. This has just been a thought and wanted some opinions on whether or not this is possible/feasible. Didn't know if anyone had any thoughts/opinions on this.
