Humbug. I'm GASing over a Conklin GT7

    ... I need one! I was hoping for a custom one. Does anyone know how much a custom job compares price wise to a standard GT7? *Drools*.. They're just so purrrddyy.. and 7 strings!... SEVEN! :smug: I know a custom would be over 1500, but how much over?

    Bet on spending at least $3,500 for a full blown custom shop model (probably more depending on how "custom" you want it)..

    Might want to consider a New Century Series 7 string.. Custom quality and workmanship for less..

    The Groove Tools Bill Dickens Signature models are VERY close to the custom shop basses (neck through construction with upgraded pups and electronics).. I've seen those go for about a grand on eBay.
