Humidity

    I took my bass in for regular maintenance and found out the side of my frets needed to be smoothed out...humidity in my home is not as balanced as it should be.

    Thanks for posting that link. :) It's excellent advice, and everyone should know about it. I've been keeping my instruments in rooms with about 50% humidity for a few years, and it's made a great difference in how many times a year I have to set up.

    It will be a glorious day when there are no more sharp fret ends in stores. :p
