O hurricane is on its way to new Orleans.. Sucks I'm probably going to be off a whole week no pay!! There was already lines at every gas station today and both has stations in my city ran out. Fun part was wife's car used diesel, so just drive up like normal and filled up.

And the storm is expected to be here Tuesday evening. Let's hope for no re-Katrina.

I hope its no "Re-Katrina" also. However, personally, if I lived below sea level, I would get out. I don't think I'd gamble on the storm water pumps again. Good luck.

I really doubt this going to amount to much. It's not as big, as fast, or as concentrated as Katrina was.

My fiancee and her family were able to take care of everything this AM at Bluebonnet and Perkens. They fueled 3 cars and 1 Suburban, and either went to Matherne's or Albertson's on Bluebonnet for water, candles, etc. The Backpacker and Massey's are near each other. I'd be hitting them up for some water purification tablets.

Just got through with the storm down here in the keys. Main part hit all day yesterday and it's still blowing like crazy today and the tide is coming over our seawall. We're all fine, though.

Best of luck to you, my friend. Hope you, your friends and family, and everyone else is safe.

It's ridiculous how many places are making their employees come into work today. Every restraint is open and my wife is working. Good thing were not evacuating. Yea I need to get to my parents 40 miles away home they don't close the interstate by the time she's off.. Friggen corporate greed. Yeah we care about our employees.... NOT

I'm hoping what's left of this storm rolls right up the Mississippi valley and drops some seriously needed rain on us!
