well, seeing as i am still a kid, i luv my short scale bass and i also still get checks around x-mas and my birthday (dec 15) from the first national bank of grandma,

so im wondering if anyone has some short scale bass suggestions?

my dad got me a gretsch electromatic from a pawn shop for no apparent reason this year, and i got a music man stingray pickup off ebay for 30$ and put it in (i had to do a little routing, ill probably regrett it down the road :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: )along with new pots. and i love its extreme light weight

so any suggestions are go! also try and post a pic and price/internet store listing

Warwick thumb BO's come in 30" scale. They're great basses.

I love my shortscale too. It's an EB-shaped Gibson but with two single coils instead of the usual "mudbucker" (giant muddy-sounding humbucker). Fingerstyle, it can be very dubby, with a pic, very garage-rocky. I'd recommend it, but I've never seen another one in person.
