    For those unfamiliar:

Basically THE doom metal fest. Amazing local band Village of Dead Roads: http://www.myspace.com/villageofdeadroads their bassist was quite busy for a while, and missed gigs, so they were going to ask me to play with them, but they got stuff figured out. So sadly, I won't be playing with them... therefore I won't be playing emissions...

Not too bummed, between school and my other band King Bowman, I'm pretty busy... tack on another band, I'd be pretty swamped... it would be worth it, but I'm totally cool with them working with their other bassist.

    Anyway... anyone going?

Sounds like it would be a cool show. I noticed Weedeater is playing. They just played in Atlanta. I didn't get to see them though. Matt, have you heard of Zoroaster? They are a really good doom band from Atlanta. www.myspace.com/thezoroaster
They are increadibly loud. I saw them in a very very small venue and the bassist and guitarist each had 2 boutique full stacks. Probably the loudest band I've heard.

Same story with Village... they pass out free earplugs at their shows. :D
