My apologies if this woman is already well-known in this forum but I never came across her until today. Juna Serita. Obviously, it's not for the lyrical content (there's only one sentence, which by no coincidence is also the title) but the groove is rock-solid. Kinda liked the brief, crazy guitar solo, too. Had to share. :D

She's cool. Every time she's posted I dig on the drummer even more than the bass. The drummer makes a pocket as wide as an interstate!!!!

Yeah, Juna sounds super-deep in the pocket on the OP's track ...until she starts her solo. Then, not so much. Drummer is solid though. Horns are killer!
I gotta hear more before I truly weigh in. But thanks for posting!

  5. Yeah, I just discovered this lady. She is amazing. A neat little video called "Tappin da bass". It's just her and a friend, her playing bass and the friend tap dancing.

I suck, but nobody really notices
Yeah, she's good. That one is actually my least favorite though. Check her out some more.

Best looking funk musicians I've ever seen. And they sound great.

I watch this video quite regularly. It's a great video in a number of ways.
