I worked out a deal with a fellow TB'er and I am getting this bass in!
    Kingbass.

I talked to David today and will be sending it in to have some upgrades done- adding a Faux headstock and Nordstrand pickups and a Aguilar preamp probably. He is a great guy and easy to deal with over the phone! Why am I sending it to him you ask(since I could do it myself) is because I like having major work done by the person whom orginally built it.

If you haven't seen his work before it is over at http://www.kingbass.com

That's a good lookin' one Darrin. I'm curious how the faux-stock comes out. His carving is awesome (as is yours).

I've owned a David King before and I can honestly say that he is a top-notched builder in every way. You can't go wrong with a King bass.

I haven't been to his site in a while, good to see it's updated and that he is still making instruments.
