i dont feel so well.........too many beers before, during and after the queensryche show last night.
How would you like a nice, greasy pork sandwich...
served up in a dirty ashtray?
Bacon and fried eggs. A few cups of tea. Painkiller of choice. Sorted.
now that sounds good
what was that? weird science i think.....
Hey it could be worse. Last night, in a drunken stupor, you could fell and broken 3 fingers on each hand and wouldn't have been able to post this thread. Or play bass well.
Bright side to everything
Rule #1 to help with hangovers:
Drink TONS of water before you go to bed. And when you wake up. Hydrate!
Not that it's much help for you now.
i don't play bass well anyway.
and for what it's worth, that company that makes Bass Ale, someone please tell them that they are mispronouncing the name of their product. It should be like what we do, not like a fish.
I did drink lotsa watta. I'm starting to come around now. it's that damn cheap beer that they serve at the Beacon Theater.
Bah! Hang overs are for sissys. I once drank a quarter of a bottle of Crown Royal, 14 beers, a few shots of vodka, a rum and orange juice, and a little bit of a cooler. After much throwing up and some sleep I was fresh as a daisy......by 2pm the next day. Lesson learned...never doing that again. Seriously though water the night before is a sure fire thing. Sometimes food helps too.
Ugly speaks the gospel. I've gotten absolutely HAMMERED on all sorts of mixed things before, and so long as I chug a gallon of water before hitting bed, and drink plenty when I wake up, I'm just fine. Vitamins before and after don't hurt, either.
For morning-after hydration, consider Gator-Ade. It has B vitamins/electolytes that will help your body along better than water.
I agree 100%. I dig powerade though. Vitamin Bs of all sorts.
Prevention is the key. Before drinking, take a bigass multivitamin and then drink water while you're drinking.
Problem solved before it starts.
Ultimate Hangover prevention: a couple tokes then doing some damage at Denny's or Jack-In-The-Box before bedtime.
i dont know is you guys have in the states but i find that lucozade sport helps immensly with a hangover.
anything that is isotonic is a great help. this is due to the fact that isotonics rehydrate your body quicker than water.
this site is turning into a frat house.
wow. i didn't know Queensryche could give you a hangover!!
Wise words. If you don't have a multivitamin, at least be sure you get lots of the B's. These and water are depleted in mass quantities when your liver processes the alcohol. Depletion of these is what gives you the killer headache and dizzy/swimmy feeling.
Oh come on now, it's off topic, in the right spot. no complaining.
