we started playing with a drummer...FINALLY. (this is my first time playing with a drummer instead of BEING the drummer)

we snagged an old buddy of ours from back in the day to bash skins for us.

he's got alot of tightening up to do since he hasn't played metal in years (been playing brushes in a church band for a while which equals no stamina).

I will be bold and say he's not the drummer I used to be, but hopefully with more practice, it will all come together.

I can't watch him play though for a few reasons:

    1. It makes me miss playing drums...BADLY

    2. He has an odd set up and drumming style that makes me queasy. haha

But we're having fun, and that's all this band is about.

Cool, glad you found someone. I feel bad for you that you miss your old instrument (can drums be called that :) ), but after you guys start clicking and getting in the groove together, it'll get a little easier to look at him! As you said, it's about having fun!
