i am a db-player, and this is cool!
Yeah, nice Epi! Gord, maybe you should become a DBer........
you guys get a bonus for every converted soul?
There has been one (B5, I think) for sale in mint condition down the street from me for a while now. I think he's asking twice as much.
I have one of these! It has the thinnest neck I've ever seen on a DB. Plays great and sounds good too. I emailed Gibson the serial # and they estimated that mine was from about 1940. Mine has the blonde tailpiece but no epi badge there-it says epiphone on the tuner plate. Mine's quite a bit more beat-up.
i debated getting a DB for awhile.
i was in band and orchestra in HS, played tuba.
i dabbled on the DB.
I had a B4 that I had restored after a near fatal top collapse. Ended up with a new top. Bass was blonde and looked alot like this one. A good friend of mine now has it and its his main player.
Absolutely! They send us a bottle of Highland Park per convert.
