I can't believe what a set of Dean Markley Blue Steel strings

    ...just did for my Peavey Millennium BXP 5 string! What a transformation!

    I've been using the DMBS strings for a long time now. I dig 'em. I like the SS better than the nickels; they're brighter. DM strings last a pretty doggone long time too.

    I've used the 45-128 set on almost all of my basses for 15+ years. Generally very consistent, and very long lasting for me.

    didnt they stop making them? they were selling them dirt cheap last summer. I think I picked up a set but didnt try them yet for $6
