  1. hey! just a little problem that has been bugging me for ages!

I have a tanglewood curbow 4, plays perfect. But when i tune the strings E, A and G and move down to the other frets when pluged into the tuner, i notice the note goes a little bit sharp.(not much but a bit) infact the futher i go down the frets the more out it is!

i've tryed moving things around a bit, and i changed strings but cant think of anything else that it could be?

the funny thing is, the D string stays in perfect all the way down to 24

    any ideas anyone?

what about the 12th fret? Is you intonation setup?
  3. Sound like your intonation is a little off. There are some links regarding this in the sticky post, I think.

Your intonation is set incorrectly. Use a good digital tuner move the saddles of the E, A, and G away from the nut until the 12th fret plays in tune. More detailed information is in the stickies above.

I just posted in another section about what I found on sunday when I was checking my intonation. My guitar player was helping me and noticed that when I fret the A string at the 12th I was pulling the string down causing it to go slightly sharp. You might want to look at that also.
