I caved in.....

    My GAS got too bad, but I think I made a good choice. All those cheap basses on sale at MF and Sam Ash kept talking to me. I picked up one of my old BP mags and saw an excellent review on the DeArmond Pilot 5 string, and for $169 bucks at MF I couldn't contain myself anymore. I ordered one, and I think I may have ordered the very last. Right after I ordered it they disappeared off the site. Did it just in the nick of time.

    I read most of what people here had to say about them, and I think I made a good decision. Won't get the bass till early November - I'm excited.

    Any updated thoughts on this bass from anyone who had one for a while now?

    Man o man!!!! I saw tha same ad & wanted one. I freind of mine has a 4 string natural DLX neck thru version that he want's to sell & it plays really well. He really dosen't like it & he'll probably sell it really cheap, so I might buy it. :p
