Last weekend I got bored & removed some of my analog pedals and replaced them with Yamaha Magicstomp. No, it's not new, in fact it is one of the effect I bought when GAS strike few years back.

So Magicstomp replaces : Ibanez AF9, Maxon CS 505, Diamond Halo, Ross Phaser clone, Jacques Prisoner Delay. None of them sounds bad to my ear, but I though that now my board sounds equally well or even better. The only modulation pedal I still keep is Boss BF2B, can't find similar sound on Magicstomp. Apart from that everything else is still analog (ES Multicomp & Microbass II)

So, am I going nuts ?

Nope. If it sounds good, it's good!

Yeah, if it sounds good, keep it. You won't need your old pedals, so send them my way.

I bought a Magicstomp just to review the compressors in it, and I was surprised by how good many of the sounds were. Very fat tones. For me there were still some issues that made me stick with separate/individual effects, but you're not nuts. :)
