    For sale: My grandfathers' antique, (1890s) vintage double bit ax. The handle has been replaced three times, and the head has been replaced twice. Otherwise, all original. $500.00
     
  2. No, it's not you, it is indeed messed up, especially at that price, considering that I doubt it's either 70's or American. Of course, I could be wrong about that, but it still looks and sounds bogus to me.

    I wasnt going to buy it but he had something else with a new decal and no date stamp so then I went looking at what other crap he was selling....I stopped looking at that one! that took the cake!

    guys go look at his other stuff he is selling...nothing has date codes and all have new decals.

    thats what made me stop and look vintage neck with a weird looking decal.

    Funny how none of the pics shows ANY side dots.

    Plus, I think the "binding" is paint.

    The hilarious part is its still priced more then an all original 70s jazz bass neck in great shape!

  15. I got an early 70s mustang bass neck from that guy last week, everything went smooth and neck was exactly as described. That's is quite fishy though.
