Who cares but I've been waiting in this room for half an hour so why not a thread about my foot. Stay tuned. I'm rooting for a broken toe.

Gout really sucks, yeah, as odd as it sounds, hope it's just broken.

What the hell could a Gorn possibly kick to break a toe?

Sorry to hear this. Hopefully it is a minor problem. Did your kick a Christian while you were barefoot? :D

On Monday I tripped on a crack in the pavement. Didn't hurt at all till Wednesday. It ached. Yesterday it ached a lot. This morning I could barely walk. They just took x-rays. Now I wait. C'mon broken toe. Here we go broken toe, here we go.

    Is it a camel?

I broke my little toe last year. It’s amazing how much you use your little toe for leverage. Good times.

  8. I say it's not broken, and it's not gout. It's an injury that will heal, but it might bother you for a few weeks.

Take some Ibuprofen, and post back here next week to let us know how you are doing.

I don't take health insurance payments so that will be $2500.00 cash for my diagnosis.

The doctor said he didn't see any breaks but the radiologist will look to make sure. If it still hurts on Monday then I should see a podiatrist. Everything I've read about gout and what my dad who has it has told me was it was like glass or little sharp pebbles and that's not at all what I'm feeling. We'll see.

They gave me this rigid bottom boot thing. It makes walking less painful. Hopefully it's random old man pain that'll go away. I'm a very old 34.

If it is gout, I have one word for you....Allopurinol. It's a wonder drug.

  16. Taking Allopurinol now would just infuriate the problem, if it is gout.
It's meant to be taken as a maintenance drug, to keep gout from happening.
Once you've got gout, it doesn't help, & actually makes it worse, IME.

It's so sad to see these things happen, but maybe it's time?

Just kidding......hope it's neither broken nor gout-ish. Both suck.

Is gout known to stem from trips on cracked pavement? In other words, how did you start thinking gout?

Damn. I always figured you to be an old, late-50's to mid-60's. You should be hanging with your neighbor Joe Nerve- he can probably help you get on the right track.
