Thanks to all the info on this site, I found what I wanted by the sound and feel (well....this site made think about looks also). So here are the pics. Did I do good?

I bought a Marcus Miller 4 string Jazz and a Musicman Stingray 5HH Black Stealth (love the look but the tones were beautiful)

Hmm, looks like a Stingray in the "stealth" finish and, hmm, a Marcus Miller with a weird pickguard. Did you do good? Only you really know the answer ;)

@jlepre - it is new. It was on clearence. It's been sitting in there since I started testing basses 2 months ago. They said it's hard for them to move guitars because of places like ebay and craig's list. The crazy part is I get home tonite and my friend said he saw one on ebay tonight for around $1200-$1300. Ain't that a B**ch?

pacojas - I some doe for an amp but I'm selling more of my DJ equipment to get a good one. My father in law is a bass player and told to check out a Mark Bass. So I did and wow!!! But I want to test more...I only tested the Mark Bass and a Fender amp (uh...the Mark Bass destroyed the fender...but the price...ughhh!) I have a Mackie SRM450 powered speaker to use in the mean time that I have for my DJ equipment.

spindoc- oops...I didn't even notice that. I guess it's because I'm excited and feel like a big kid on Christmas morning...only I got to pick my gifts. LOL

  14. Everyone is so fixated on price... If you got what you want then that's all that counts. I like them both. Nice work!

Seriously though... Enjoy the basses. It's good to get to the end of a search. They journey can be great... but now you can start another... getting to the 'next level' with those sweet axes :D

Congrats on your TWO new basses! You know of course that the Marcus Miller won't sound proper until you stick a black pick guard on it. Play the heck out of them!
