I'd been looking for one of these for a while. A long while. Neck thru with an ebony board. I just won this on Ebay for $785, that includes the shipping, the strap and the case!

Nah, I just "won" it about an hour ago. This is my first dealing with an Ebay item. Wish me luck, hopefully I won't need it!

    I wouldn't worry

I've bought and sold many many (high and low end) basses over Ebay without a problem yet...

Congrats on that one! I've been playing one ALOT lately at a local store. Wish I could jump on it, but amps come first.

Those are nice basses. I used to own one when they first came out. They really sound good . The only drawback that I found was the weight. You will definitely know what I am talking about after you play it for a few hours. Good luck.

I played a Warwick Stage 1 5 for about 3 years, so I'll be cool with the weight. The growl on these things are amazing, plus, to me, they're the easiest 6's to play. I love the spacing. I just find it weird that it took about 2 years to find one.

i guess i shouldn't say 'you should have told me you were looking for one' because you probably told the board...but i haven't been around at all lately.

anyway, theres one here at a store in town for some rediculously low price, i think around 500. it's in pretty good shape, sounds and plays great.

    'chuck,

I know that you were looking for a 'neck thru', but have you tried the orange Yammy Patti at GC 'Rhythm city'? It's a Bolt-on... It has a great tone, wide spacing and a little heavy, but cool nonetheless...

    Nemo rules!!!

Woodchuck, I was wondering whatever happened to your Aries six-string? I remember some cool pics of it, but I don't think it was heard from again.
