    That is a KICK-@$$ album.
I dig on King Diamond in general, but those two first Mercifull Fate albums really stuck out.

  3. All I have to say is...!BLACK FUNERAL![

Bring the black box to the altar
Now raise your hands, and do the sign
All hail Satan, yes hail Satan
Lay down your swords, the evil star

    It's a black funeral
She was a victim, of my coven

Open the black box on the altar
Her blood is still warm, so let it out
All hail Satan, yes hail Satan
Now drink, now drink drink, forget that whore

    It's a black funeral
She was a victim of a coven

Sacrificing a woman in the name of Satan..ah it never gets old :bassist:

    Wow I dig...

The bassist is supercool-Timi something I think.

Diamond is human? With a voice like that?

As good as In the Shadows definitely.

I like the Melissa disc. It's not my favorite "Fate" disc. I'm more partial to "The Beginning". I love the rawness of that recording. "Don't break the oath" is another that I like a little more than Melissa.

MF is probably my favorite band of all time.

Check out the "Return of the Vampire" disc, which is comprised of rare and some unreleased MF stuff. There are some tracks there from earlier lineups, and two tracks from Michael Denner's band that Hank and King helped out on, shortly before the classic MF lineup was formed.
