    Alrite. I did what some of you said, and I went out looking for what I was after. I was looking for a 5 string bass, and I am into playing music like Metallica and stuff like that. So, anyway, the bass which I most liked out of all of the ones I tried was a Peavey DynaBass. I liked this bass because of its weight and the shape. Now, does anyone have any opinions on this bass, like, is it worth buying for £219 ??? Or is it not that good ??? :bassist:

    i wouldn't base a decision on weight and shape. they are considerations, but you're buying a musical instrument. make sure the sound is what you want.

    best advice: play all the basses you can. find out what sound you like, then, within your price range, find the bass that's closest to the sound you want.
