Yep, I quit. I gave two years notice last January, so I'll be leaving at the end of next year. Anybody got a gig for me? A job, maybe?

Arn't you like 95 years old?

I assumed your notice was of your retirement and full transformation into grumpy old cumugeon. Oh wait...that happened when you were 25. :D

    I don't give notice when I quit.
I always figured, why? They don't give you two weeks notice before they fire you.

    ....not to mention two years.

IIRC Mr Bunga is the CEO of his own company. Its probably a two year notice period in his contract.

I gave 2 months notice because I know that if someone sin;t trained right for my job all my co workers will suffer by having to work harder.

I have "just quit" 1 job because I didn't like my coi workers...I was 15.

How about selling all that gear listed in your profile!!?? :p

You can only play one bass at a time you know!":eyebrow:

Even better take up DB and learn to play unamped - that'll save a lot of money and give you something to do! ;)

Too funny, I just, this week, gave my three year notice ;) But like you, I'll never REALLY be out ......

OTOH, with the way my investment stuff is headed, I might be retracting that notice ... :help:

As mentioned before, you're like 110, right? Retirement?

  13. Congrats Munji!!

I quit my last job right on the spot. My boss told me I WOULD be working on saturday (forced overtime). That was right before lunch on friday. I said, nope, I won't even be back after lunch......how about helping me roll my toolbox out the front gate?? The big CNC lathe I worked on sat idle for about 4 months. :rollno:

I've been self employed and enjoying life for the past 7 or so years :bassist:

After looking at the equipment in your profile...I can't believe that you've got a GAS list!
