I'm thinking the Furman R-8L. What would you guys recommend? I mean, it's a power conditioner I don't wanna spend a whole lotta money on one.

Well, you have to spend enough so it'll do what it's supposed to do, right?

Furman is the industry standard, but the RP-8 (probably what you meant) is itself an import sold by Furman. Specs are not quite as good as the US made PL units which are about $50 more. $50 is chump change if your rack is full of expensive gear.

If you don't have a rack, a good power strip like you would use for a computer has pretty much the same current-limiting and ground-isolating stuff in it that the rackmounts do. Cheaper, too.

No lights, meters, or decorator colors, though...
  4. Pass on the lights and other bells and whistles.

Furman RR15NL.....29.99 at Mars. You can buy one online.
