I Got a Blonde for Christmas!

    Say Hello to Pearl...the newest addition to our family.
    She's coming to us tomorrow from a Lab rescue facility via a foster home.
    She is just shy of 2 yrs old, obedient and house trained, and little does she know she's about to hit the doggy jackpot! She has spent most of the last year living in and out of a crate with little time to run and do all the things that dogs love to do. But her new home is on 2.7 acres located on a 30 acre private lake...lots of room to run and swim.

    Great looking dog! Good move on the rescue.

    Some of our friends have a dog named Pearl. Their Pearl is a Basset Hound.

    Good on you for giving her a home and a place to run. We had a chocolate and a yellow lab(mix), both were rescues. Great dogs (R.I.P).

    Love the look on that dog's face - intelligent and attentive. She's gonna be a sweetie.

    Nice looking dog I love other people's labs. I am glad she found a great home with you. I am not willing to commit the time needed to have a dog in an urban environment so I respect you and other who provide good homes.
    As for me I hope to see meet this blonde soon.

    A new, furry family addition?! Woo-Hoo! Congrats!

    Saturday I'm helping to transfer a rescued Wheaten Terrier from OH to Maryland. I've done it before and it is always fun!
